Texas stays frustrating to live in
Texas is such a hot bed of anti abortion BS. I see it in real time, in my everyday life and I’m fucking over it.
State politicans are always trying to do THE MOST to erode abortion service providers’ effectiveness and even in *special “liberal”* Austin their anti choice robots show up to protest all. the. time.
For almost 5 years now, I just happen to live less than a mile from one of the what…6(?) remaining abortion providers in this (giant) state. There has been a NOTICEABLE increase of protestors standing at the edge of the clinic’s property on a DAILY basis now…luckily the PP responded by adding a new brick privacy wall around their property.
But I still have to see those fucks standing out there on a daily basis…(often with their miserable looking children with them 😫) It’s gross and I hate them and I just thought y’all should know. Texan politicians who represent these fringe voices (because Texas has ABYSMAL voter turn out for a litany of structural reasons) are poised to capitalize on any cracks that emerge in Roe v Wade and, of course, to contribute any cracks they can as well.
It’s horrifying as fuck to see the signs of this all “in my backyard” regularly.
